Description:
Glycolide is Formed by cyclization of two glycolic acid that can synthesize poly(glycolic acid) by ring-opening polymerization or copolymerize with other monomers such as lactide, caprolactone and other aliphatic polyesters. The product composed of glycolide shows excellent biocompatibility and biodegradability, so it is an ideal way to use this product in drug delivery, tissue engineering, bone repair, and surgical sutures.
A high purity (≥99.5%) and low toxicity glycolide ensure the safety and quality of the polymer. The high reactivity of the monomer allow polymerization quickly and effectively.
